Dr. Lena Omar is a fellowship-trained, board-certified diagnostic breast radiology specialist whose patient-centered approach includes providing world-class service with compassion and respect, injecting positivity and hope into each interaction. She is versed in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), digital breast tomosynthesis, mammography, ultrasound, breast cancer screening and related image-guided interventions in addition to stereotactic- and ultrasound-guided biopsy, providing comprehensive care to each person.

Dr. Omar earned a medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans before completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Breast Imaging at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She is a member of the American College of Radiology, American Board of Radiology and American Roentgen Ray Society.
